About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Finance team at iFranchise . The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in accounting, statutory compliance, payroll taxation, and financial reporting. This role requires someone who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely statutory filings, and maintain accurate financial records while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain Books of Accounts in Tally Prime/ERP .
- Record, verify, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.

Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) .
- File Annual GST Return (GSTR-9)

- Handle Professional Tax (PT) registrations, payments, and return filings.
- Manage Provident Fund (PF) monthly challans and annual filings.
- Manage Employees' State Insurance (ESI) monthly challans and annual filings.
- Ensure timely payment and compliance of all statutory obligations.

Payroll & Taxation
- Calculate and deposit TDS as per statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Perform employee income tax calculations.
- Generate and issue Form 16 .
- Support payroll processing and ensure accurate statutory deductions.

Financial Compliance & Reporting
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and government authorities.
- Assist during statutory and internal audits.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and compliance records.
- Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial data whenever required.
- Ensure all accounting activities
