About the job

Key responsibilities:

A. Core Financial Tasks
1. Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
2. Prepare and issue invoices and bills to clients or customers.
3. Track and process vendor bills and ensure timely payments.
4. Follow up on outstanding payments from clients and customers.
5. Reconcile company records with bank statements to identify discrepancies.

B. Compliance and Reporting
1. Prepare data for GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings.
2. Maintain accurate and updated general ledger entries.
3. Generate periodic MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
4. Assist internal and external auditors with documentation and clarifications.

C. Payroll and Expenses
1. Calculate and process employee salaries, including deductions and disbursements.
2. Track petty cash, reimbursements, and departmental expenses.
