We are looking for a Continental Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

The position is suitable for someone with basic knowledge of Continental cooking who wants to work in a professional restaurant kitchen and develop their culinary skills.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparation and service for the Continental section.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, stocks, dressings and other basic components.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and plating standards.
- Maintain proper mise en place before and during service.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and storage procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Coordinate with the CDP and other kitchen sections.
- Maintain proper stock rotation and minimize food wastage.
- Handle kitchen equipment responsibly.

Requirements

- 0–2 years of professional kitchen experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Continental cuisine.




- Culinary qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Restaurant, café or hotel kitchen experience is preferred.
