SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER & VIDEO EDITOR Location: Delhi NCR / Remote Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 years preferred About the Role We are looking for a Social Media Manager & Video Editor who can take ownership of our social media content from long-form videos to short-form viral content. You will be responsible for editing long-form podcast/interview videos, identifying the best moments to turn into Reels/Shorts, creating engaging clips, and managing the day-to-day social media presence across platforms. We are looking for someone who understands content, storytelling, trends, retention and social media growth — not just someone who knows how to edit videos. Key Responsibilities Video Editing - Edit long-form podcast/interview videos for YouTube. - Create high-quality Reels, Instagram videos and YouTube Shorts from long-form content. - Identify robust hooks, viral moments, soundbites and storytelling segments. - Add captions, subtitles, B-roll, transitions, zooms, sound effects and other elements where appropriate. - Maintain a consistent visual style across all content. - Ensure videos are optimized for retention and engagement. Social Media Management - Manage Instagram and YouTube content on a day-to-day basis. - Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar. - Upload, schedule and publish content. - Write/optimize captions, titles, descriptions and hashtags. - Stay updated with current Instagram and YouTube trends, formats and viral content. - Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on analytics. Content & Growth - Proactively identify content opportunities from existing footage. - Develop ideas for new short-form content. - Understand what makes content clickable, watchable and shareable. - Analyze competitors and creators in the space. - Track metrics such as views, retention, engagement, shares and followers. - Continuously experiment with hooks, formats,



editing styles and posting strategies. What We're Looking For - Strong experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software. - Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. - Valuable sense of pacing, storytelling and visual composition. - Understanding of social media algorithms and content trends. - Ability to recognize viral moments within long-form content. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Someone who is creative, proactive and growth-oriented, rather than simply executing instructions. Bonus Points - Experience managing a personal brand, podcast or creator account. - Experience growing Instagram or YouTube pages. - Knowledge of YouTube SEO and Instagram SEO. - Experience with motion graphics, thumbnails and advanced editing. - Understanding of AI video/content creation tools. - Strong understanding of current viral formats and internet culture. The Ideal Candidate You should be someone who can watch a 60-minute podcast and immediately identify 10–15 moments that could become strong Shorts/Reels. You should understand the difference between "a good clip" and "a clip that people will actually stop scrolling to watch." Most importantly, we want someone who can take ownership of the content and contribute ideas, rather than waiting for instructions for every post.
