MBBS Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Department: Clinical / OPD
Reports To: Medical Superintendent / Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Attend and support OPD patients and conduct initial clinical assessment.
- Take patient history, check vitals, and perform basic clinical examination.
- Coordinate with consultants and assist in patient evaluation and treatment planning.
- Explain investigations, medications, follow-up, and general treatment instructions to patients as advised by the consultant.
- Provide patient counselling regarding treatment, lifestyle, precautions, and follow-up.
- Participate in health camps and outreach activities, including patient assessment, screening, counselling, and referral.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination between patients, consultants, nursing staff, and other departments.




- Identify patients requiring urgent/specialist attention and refer them appropriately.
- Maintain proper OPD records, prescriptions, investigation reports, and patient documentation.
- Support patient flow and ensure a positive patient-care experience.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.

Qualification & Experience

- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid registration with the State Medical Council / NMC.
- OPD, health camp, and patient counselling experience preferred.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
