We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Logistics Manager to join our growing organization in Kochi, Kerala.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding, including significant experience in the UAE, preferably in a senior management position.

This is not purely an operational role. We are looking for a business-oriented logistics professional who already has customers and industry connections and can actively develop new business and expand the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day logistics and freight forwarding operations.
- Lead, supervise and manage the logistics team and staff.
- Develop new customers and generate new business for the company.
- Bring and develop existing customer relationships/business in freight forwarding.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new markets, trade lanes and business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with international freight forwarding agents and logistics partners.
- Utilize established contacts with overseas agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and other industry partners.
- Handle and provide expert guidance on freight forwarding and customs clearance procedures.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and commercial terms, and convert leads into customers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with international agents.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure high-quality service to customers.
- Train, guide and motivate staff to achieve operational and business targets.
- Set business-development targets and actively contribute to company revenue growth.




- Identify opportunities to expand the company's freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Represent the company professionally with customers, agents and business partners.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics / freight forwarding / shipping / supply chain.
- Strong UAE logistics industry experience, preferably in a senior or managerial position.
- Age 35 years or above preferred.
- Must have an existing customer network/business relationships in freight forwarding.
- Candidates who can bring or develop existing freight forwarding customers will be strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and international logistics.
- Extensive knowledge of customs clearance procedures, particularly UAE/international procedures.
- Strong network of international freight forwarding agents and logistics partners.
- Proven track record in business development and customer acquisition.
- Ability to independently generate new business and expand the company's customer base.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Fluent/good command of English and Hindi is required.
- Malayalam knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.




- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for business development.
- Must be willing to work full time in Kochi, Kerala.

The successful candidate should be capable of developing the company, bringing new customers, increasing revenue and building a strong logistics team.

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced UAE logistics professional to take a key leadership role in expanding our freight forwarding and logistics business from Kochi.

Compensation

₹80,000 - ₹1,00,000 per month + Performance Incentives

Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional UAE experience, a strong existing customer portfolio, extensive international agent relationships and a proven record of generating business.
