Job Description 
Experience: 5.5 Years to 8 Years
Mechanical Lead to drive mechanical design, technical strategy, and

team development within our medical device design group.

 This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership

responsibilities, ensuring high-quality engineering output from

concept to production.

Specific Job Skills Required 
Required Qualification:

 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Master’s preferred).

 Robust background of 6-8 years in mechanical design for plastic,

metal, and precision-machined parts.

 Deep proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and

engineering documentation.

 Experience in medical device development or similarly regulated

industries is a plus.

 Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow engineering talent.

 Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to balance technical depth with team leadership and project

execution

 Key Responsibility:

 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers.

 Expertise in Problem solving

 Review and approve 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and engineering

documentation.

 Drive concept development, feasibility evaluation, and robust design

decisions.





 Oversee mechanical design work for injection-molded, sheet-metal,

and machined components.

 Ensure high standards for GD&T;, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA

practices.

 Validate designs through calculations, analysis, and

verification/validation testing.

 Guide selection and qualification of COTS components.

 Partner with suppliers, toolmakers, and manufacturing teams to

ensure build readiness.

 Own and maintain mechanical sections of the DHF, including V&V;

protocols and reports.

 Lead engineering contributions to risk management activities such as

FMEA and hazard analysis.

 Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development of team

members.

 Represent mechanical engineering in cross-functional reviews and

decision forums.

Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
