Amrita School of Business (ASB), Bangalore Campus invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our academic community, focusing on organisational behaviour, sociology of work, Organisational Sociology, and human Resource Management.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and lead high impact research on organisational culture, leadership,



and social behaviour in workplaces.

Explore themes such as identity, diversity, inclusion, and power relations in organisational settings.

Apply and advance qualitative and mixed methods approaches (e.g., ethnography, case studies, interviews, coding frameworks).

Design and implement organisational diagnostics and interventions to improve culture, cohesion, and performance.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to grant writing, publications, and industry partnerships.

Required Skills

PhD in Organisational Behaviour, Sociology of Work, Organisational Sociology, Human Resource Management, or a closely related discipline.

At least one publication in an A ranked ABDC journal (or equivalent high impact outlet such as Scopus Q1).

Strong expertise in qualitative and/or mixed methods research; familiarity with tools such as NVivo, Atlas.ti, or advanced coding techniques.

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to conduct independent and team-oriented research.
