Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Branch Manager to take complete ownership of the Calicut Branch. The candidate will be responsible for the overall branch operations, student management, staff management, sales and admissions, financial control, academic coordination, and overall growth and profitability of the branch.

Candidates with strong experience in the Education / EdTech sector will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership of the overall functioning and performance of the Calicut Branch.
- Manage all day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Take responsibility for student satisfaction, retention, support, and overall student experience.
- Handle student and parent concerns, complaints, and escalations effectively.
- Manage and monitor all branch staff, including attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure proper accountability.
- Coordinate with Sales, Academic, HR, Finance, and Marketing teams for smooth branch operations.
- Take ownership of sales, admissions, revenue, and branch targets.
- Monitor leads, follow-ups, conversions, admissions, collections, and outstanding payments.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve branch sales, student admissions, and revenue growth.
- Coordinate with the academic team to ensure smooth classes, faculty coordination, examinations, and student support.
- Monitor student attendance, academic concerns, and overall engagement.
- Handle branch-level financial control, including revenue, collections, expenses, and operational costs.
- Monitor and control unnecessary branch expenses and ensure proper utilization of company resources.
- Ensure proper handling and accountability of company assets and branch resources.
- Maintain branch infrastructure, classrooms, office facilities, and overall cleanliness and standards.
- Ensure strict implementation of company policies, rules,



processes, and operational standards.
- Resolve branch-level staff, student, parent, operational, and customer-related issues promptly.
- Organize student engagement activities, seminars, orientations, workshops, and events.
- Monitor branch performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Analyze branch performance and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Identify new opportunities to improve branch growth, profitability, student acquisition, and retention.
- Maintain a positive, professional, disciplined, and student-friendly environment.
- Represent the organization professionally in the local market and build a strong branch reputation.
- Work closely with senior management and provide regular updates regarding branch performance, challenges, and requirements.
- Take full responsibility for the overall growth, performance, profitability, and smooth functioning of the Calicut Branch.

Candidate Requirements

- 3–5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Education / EdTech sector.
- Strongly preferred: Candidates with Branch Manager / Centre Manager / Operations Manager experience in Education or EdTech.
- Experience managing an educational institute, training centre, EdTech branch, or similar education business is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in student handling, staff management, sales, admissions, and branch operations.
- Positive understanding of branch-level financial management and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle branch responsibilities and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong business and growth-oriented mindset.
- Candidates without relevant Education / EdTech experience will be given lower preference.
