Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Senior Python Engineer with experience or interest in building modern AI-enabled applications. The role involves developing APIs, AI services, integrations, agents, RAG solutions and reusable application components running in modern cloud environments. Candidates with strong Python and backend engineering fundamentals who have started working with Generative AI technologies are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Python-based backend services and APIs.

• Develop AI-enabled applications and services.

• Implement RAG pipelines and enterprise search solutions.

• Build and integrate AI agents and tool-based workflows.

• Integrate applications with APIs, databases and enterprise systems.

• Deploy and operate services on Azure, AWS or GCP.

• Use cloud storage, compute, databases, messaging and monitoring services.

• Develop reusable application and AI components.

• Write clean, maintainable and testable code.

• Participate in technical design and code reviews.

• Debug complex application and integration issues.

• Build automated tests and support deployment/production troubleshooting.

• Participate in prototypes and proof-of-concepts.

• Continuously evaluate emerging AI engineering technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming.

• FastAPI, Flask or equivalent.

• REST APIs,



SQL and NoSQL exposure.

• Git, testing and debugging.

• Practical cloud experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.

• Experience deploying or supporting applications in cloud environments.

• Docker/containers and CI/CD fundamentals.

• Logging and monitoring fundamentals.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles.

Preferred / Additional Exposure

• LLM APIs and prompt engineering.

• RAG, embeddings and vector databases.

• AI agents and tool/function calling.

• Lang Chain / Lang Graph.

• Azure OpenAI / Azure AI, AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.

• AI evaluation and observability.

Additional Note

Candidates with excellent Python/backend/cloud fundamentals and demonstrable AI experimentation will also be considered.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. Candidates should be comfortable moving between architecture, coding, debugging, mentoring and customer-facing technical discussions.
