About the Role

Du Jour is an artisan French patisserie and café known for premium croissants, specialty buns, desserts, and coffee. We are looking for a Guest Service Specialist who can create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest while ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests with a warm, professional, and courteous approach.
- Understand guest preferences and provide personalized service.
- Explain and recommend products, pastries, beverages, and menu items based on guest requirements.
- Handle guest enquiries, orders, billing, and service-related requests efficiently.
- Ensure accurate coordination between guests, service staff, kitchen, and other operational teams.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Maintain high standards of grooming, hygiene, presentation, and customer service.
- Ensure the dining and guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and well presented.
- Support daily opening and closing activities as required.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records related to orders, customer requests, and service issues.




- Promote additional products and services through appropriate upselling and cross-selling.
- Ensure adherence to Du Jour's service standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines.
- Support the team during peak hours, weekends, and special events.
- Build positive relationships with regular guests and contribute to customer retention.

Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, bakery, patisserie, premium retail, or customer-facing roles.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a solid customer-service orientation.
- Positive grooming and professional presentation.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous while handling difficult situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures is preferred.
- Knowledge of food, beverages, bakery, or patisserie products will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business requirements.
