Key Responsibilities

- Own and deliver sales targets, revenue and growth for the APIs & Pharma Intermediates portfolio
- Develop and execute domestic and global sales strategy
- Drive international/export sales and expand presence in global markets
- Build, manage and expand the distributor, agent and channel network across domestic and international regions
- Identify, engage and convert new clients (pharmaceutical manufacturers, formulators, contract manufacturers, exporters)
- Manage key accounts and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Track market trends, regulatory developments, competitor activity and pricing across markets
- Coordinate with regulatory, technical/R&D; and supply teams to close deals
- Handle export documentation requirements, pricing and commercial negotiations
- Maintain and update pipeline, forecasts and account data in CRM tools
- Lead,



mentor and guide junior sales team members where applicable
- Report sales performance, metrics and market insights to management

Industry Knowledge

- Hands-on experience selling APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates
- Robust understanding of API/intermediate manufacturing, applications and quality requirements
- Established network within the pharmaceutical manufacturer, distributor and export ecosystem
- Knowledge of key brands, clients and buyers in domestic and global markets
- Awareness of latest market trends, regulatory requirements and compliance standards (GMP, DMF, CEP, regulatory filings)

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in APIs & Pharma Intermediates (mandatory)
- Proven track record in both domestic and global/export sales
- Strong knowledge of global sales, international markets and export processes
- Existing network of clients, distributors and agents across domestic and international markets
- Strong knowledge of B2B sales and lead generation methods
- Proficiency in CRM tools
- Working knowledge of ChatGPT and Claude
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
