Job Description Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation by leading the assessment, inventory, and decommissioning planning of legacy third-party applications and vendor contracts. This individual will partner with IT, finance, procurement, legal, supply chain, and operational stakeholders to identify systems suitable for retirement, analyze vendor agreements and contractual obligations, establish governance and prioritization frameworks, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and develop decommissioning roadmaps aligned with the overall Epic transformation strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of healthcare IT transformation experience, business analysis expertise, vendor and contract management knowledge, financial acumen, and robust stakeholder management skills to help streamline the organization's technology landscape and reduce operational costs.This role requires a blend of business analysis, contract and vendor management, governance development, financial assessment, and healthcare IT transformation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting EHR implementations, application rationalization initiatives, system retirement programs, or technology modernization efforts within large healthcare organizations. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis, Healthcare IT Consulting, IT Strategy, or Technology Transformation experience Experience supporting Epic implementations or EHR modernization initiatives Experience with application portfolio management, system rationalization, and application decommissioning efforts Experience evaluating third-party software vendors and technology contracts Strong business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering experience Ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and collaborate across IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Operations teams Experience developing governance frameworks, prioritization models, business cases, and strategic recommendations Experience building ROI models, cost-savings analyses, and financial impact assessments Consulting experience within large health systems, academic medical centers, or payer organizations PMP, CBAP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications
