## ROLE AND WORK DESCRIPTION
This is a Housekeeping and Guest Service job. The work involves keeping the homestay clean and providing positive service to guests throughout their stay.
## ROOM CLEANING AND HOUSEKEEPING
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly
• Dust furniture and other surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors
• Keep rooms clean and ready for new guests
• Clean and maintain common areas
• Keep rooms neat and presentable
## BATHROOM CLEANING
• Clean bathrooms and toilets thoroughly
• Clean floors, mirrors, washbasins and fixtures
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness
• Make bathrooms ready before guest check in
## BEDDING AND LINEN
• Change bedsheets, pillow covers and towels
• Make beds properly
• Collect and organize used and fresh linen
• Keep required linen and room items ready for guests
## GUEST INTERACTION AND SERVICE
• Welcome guests politely and respectfully
• Interact well with customers
• Help guests with reasonable requirements
• Provide friendly and helpful service throughout their stay
• Maintain good behaviour with guests
• Make guests feel comfortable and welcome
## CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
• Welcome guests when they arrive
• Help guests with their luggage and take luggage to their rooms
• Assist guests during check in
• Assist guests during check out
• Handle keys properly
• Check rooms after guests check out
• Report missing or damaged items
• Prepare rooms for the next guest
