Job DescriptionGretex Corporate Services Limited is a SEBI Category-I Merchant Banker and part of the NSE-listed Gretex Group. You will sit on the Coverage Team, our deal origination desk. Execution — DRHP, due diligence, issue management — is handled by dedicated teams, so your mandate is the mandate itself.
NKey Responsibilities:
N
- n
- Source and close SME and Mainboard IPO mandates through your own network of promoters, CAs, CSs, PE/VC funds and channel partners. N
- Build and hold a live origination pipeline across sectors and geographies, with transparent visibility on stage and conversion. N
- Run the promoter relationship end to end — first conversation, credential pitch, commercial discussion, mandate signing. N
- Qualify opportunities against BRLM readiness so the execution desk receives clean, listable companies. N
- Take the deal to the point of signature. The Managing Director joins only for the final promoter meeting and signing, not for client-hunting. N
- Represent GCSL with intermediaries,
industry bodies and regional promoter networks across India. N
- Hand over signed mandates cleanly and stay the relationship owner through listing. N
nRequirements:
N
- n
- A demonstrable, portable network of promoters and intermediaries you can activate from week one. N
- A track record of independently originating and closing capital markets or transaction mandates, evidenced by deals you personally brought in. N
- 8+ years in capital markets — merchant banking, investment banking, SME IPO desks, broking or Big-4 transaction advisory. N
- Working command of the Indian listing landscape: NSE Emerge, BSE SME, Mainboard, SEBI ICDR requirements and what makes a company IPO-ready. N
- Credibility in a promoter's boardroom — the judgement to have a commercial conversation with a founder without a banker in the room. N
- Willingness to travel pan-India for promoter meetings. N
