What you'll own
Backlink campaign planning
- Build a quarterly link plan mapped to specific target pages and keyword clusters, rather than a fixed monthly link count. Plan anchor text and target-page distribution deliberately, and maintain a natural link velocity.
- Run link-gap analysis against defined competitors in each market using Ahrefs or Semrush, and prioritise prospects by how realistically they can be won. Segment them into tiers, each with its own approach: editorial and media, HR communities and associations, partner and integration pages, SaaS directories and roundups, guest contributions, and resource pages.




- Commission linkable assets with the content team, including survey data, calculators, statistics pages and templates, and then promote them. Maintain a single prospect database recording owner, status, last contact and outcome.
- Prospect and verify contacts, and write outreach that is short, specific and built around a single explicit request.
- Manage replies through to completion, including negotiation and decisions on paid placements, and follow up until the link is live. Track reply rate, positive reply rate and link-live rate by template, and discontinue approaches that do not perform.
- Establish Keka's presence in the sources AI systems draw from: “best HR software” and “best payroll software” roundups, comparison articles, and review platforms including G2, Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, TrustRadius and SoftwareSuggest.
- Participate genuinely in the community surfaces that appear in AI answ
