nRole Overview:
nTo manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely accounting entries, support statutory compliance, reconciliations, vendor payments, budgeting, and assist in the preparation of financial and management reports.
n

nKey Responsibilities
n1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
n· Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally.
n· Prepare and post journal entries, payment entries, receipt entries, purchase and sales entries.
n· Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
n· Ensure proper ledger classification and accounting treatment.
n· Review and reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger.
n2. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
n· Verify vendor invoices with supporting documents and approvals.
n· Check GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements on invoices.
n· Prepare vendor payment statements and payment proposals.
n· Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
n· Ensure timely processing of vendor payments.

Accounts Receivable & Collections
n· Record and reconcile customer/student receipts.
n· Monitor outstanding receivables and prepare ageing reports.
n· Follow up with concerned teams for collection-related issues.
n· Perform customer/student ledger reconciliations.
n4. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
n· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
n· Identify and resolve unreconciled transactions.
n· Perform inter-company and inter-unit reconciliations.
n· Reconcile major balance sheet and income statement ledgers.
n5. GST & TDS Compliance Support
n· Assist in GST reconciliation and return preparation.
n· Verify input tax credit and reconcile purchase data with GST records.
n· Assist with TDS calculations, deductions and reconciliations.
n· Support preparation of TDS returns such as 24Q and 26Q.
n· Ensure proper accounting of RCM transactions wherever applicable.
