Job DescriptionFigures Global Advisors is looking for an experienced accountant to independently manage accounting assignments for Indian and US clients. Location: Bangalore, India Work arrangement: On-site Experience: 4–5 years Role: Individual contributor About the role We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Indian accounting using Zoho Books and US accounting using QuickBooks and Zoho Books . You will take ownership of assigned accounts, from day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations to month-end closing and financial reporting. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, transparent client communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts for Indian and US clients, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and ageing reviews. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, customer and vendor balances, and other balance sheet accounts.



Investigate discrepancies and follow up on outstanding items. Complete month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other adjustments. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Handle GST and TDS accounting and reconciliations for Indian clients, and coordinate with compliance teams on relevant workings. Maintain US accounts and prepare reconciled records and schedules for clients, CPAs, and tax advisors. Account for foreign currency transactions and intercompany balances, where applicable. Coordinate directly with clients to obtain documents, resolve queries, and meet reporting deadlines. Maintain organised supporting documentation and identify improvements to accounting processes.
