Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Plan, schedule, and assign work to meet targets; monitor daily activities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate fabrication staff; manage performance and enforce company policies.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ASME, AWS) and specifications; oversee testing and address quality issues.
- Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and housekeeping protocols (OSHA).
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen) and other improvements to boost productivity.
- Technical Oversight: Read blueprints/drawings, estimate materials, manage equipment, and ensure proper use of tools and machinery.
- Coordination: Liaise with engineering, maintenance, supply chain,



and other departments for smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Mechanical diploma or degree preferred, with relevant certifications.
- Experience: Proven supervisory experience in metal fabrication/manufacturing, often 4+ years.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in welding, fitting, blueprint reading, and knowledge of industry codes/standards (ASME, API, AWS).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, planning, and attention to detail.
