Role Overview

As an Electrical CAD Trainer, you will be responsible for training students and professionals in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software in Electrical domain. This role

involves conducting classroom and online sessions, designing curriculum, and helping

learners develop practical CAD skills to prepare them for industry job openings.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging training sessions on Electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, Catia/ProE ).
- Develop, update and deliver comprehensive training programs, manuals, and materials tailored to mechanical engineering design.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and project-based learning experiences.
- Assess the progress and performance of trainees, providing feedback and mentorship as needed.
- Offer technical assistance, troubleshooting and support during practical sessions.
- Stay current with changes in Electrical CAD software tools, industry standards and technological advancements.
- Customize instructional methods based on student proficiency and learning styles.




- Organize and supervise practical projects to enhance applied learning.
- Maintain training records and generate batch performance reports.
- Coordinate with other trainers and management for continuous improvement of training modules.
- Design & Drafting: Create high-quality electrical schematics, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring harnesses, and control panel layouts using industry-standard CAD software.
- Component Selection & BOM: Capable of generating accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and technical specifications for procurement and manufacturing.
- Standards & Compliance: Knowledge on international and local standards such as IEC, NEC, UL, and CE,
- Digital Twins & Simulation: Assist in creating Digital Twins for electrical infrastructure to simulate performance and validate designs before physical commissioning.
