We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support diagnostic services at Krishna Hospital. The role involves sample collection, testing, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, etc.) accurately
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per protocols
- Operate and maintain lab equipment
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of test results
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures
- Monitor reagent stock and inform for replenishment
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for urgent tests
Work Schedule
- Rotational shifts (including night shift if required)
- Weekly off on rotation
- Flexibility to work during peak hours
Key Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple samples efficiently
- Good communication skills (Tamil required, basic English preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge for report entry
Preferred Profile
- DMLT / B.sc MLT
- Experience in hospital or diagnostic lab setting
- Familiarity with lab machines and reporting systems
