Job Summary

The TGT Music Teacher is responsible for imparting quality music education to middle school students (Classes VI-X), nurturing musical talent, creativity, and appreciation for both vocal and instrumental music.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct structured music classes in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Teach vocal music (classical and/or contemporary) and instrumental music effectively.
- Train students in rhythm, melody, notation, and basic music theory.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, cultural programs, competitions, and events.
- Identify and nurture musically talented students.
- Maintain and manage musical instruments and the music room.
- Assess students’ musical progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff for co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive,



engaging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate/Post Graduate with B.Ed. (as per TGT norms).
- Well experienced in both vocal and instrumental music.
- Formal training or certification in music is preferred.
- Ability to handle group and individual music instruction.
- Good communication skills and passion for music education.

Reporting To:
Head of Department / School Principal

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
