Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Turbine Operator to manage and operate Steam Turbine Generator (STG) systems in a power plant environment. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous turbine operation while maintaining optimal performance and adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Steam Turbine Generator (STG) through DCS/local panels
- Ensure safe start-up, shutdown, synchronization, and load operation of turbine units
- Monitor parameters such as steam pressure, temperature, vibration, vacuum, and load:
- Coordinate closely with boiler operations for a stable steam supply
- Handle turbine auxiliaries (lubrication system, condensate system, cooling system, etc.)
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and abnormalities:




- Ensure proper functioning of interlocks and protection systems:
- Maintain shift logs, reports, and operational records:
- Coordinate with maintenance, electrical, and instrumentation teams:
- Follow all safety standards, SOPs, and statutory compliance requirements

Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in turbine operation

Mandatory Experience:
- Operation of Steam Turbine Generator (STG) ≥ 10 MW capacity:
- Experience in power plant / captive power plant operations

Preferred Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with DCS-based turbine operations:
- Robust understanding of turbine systems, auxiliaries, and protection logic:
- Knowledge of steam cycle and energy efficiency practices:
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Familiarity with continuous process plant operations

Work Environment:
- Large-scale power plant / utility operation
