Job Title: Asian Chef (Chinese, Sushi & Pan-Asian Specialist)Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare authentic Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodles, rice, sauces, and gravies.
- Expertly prepare Sushi (veg & non-veg), including maki rolls, nigiri, and California rolls.
- Prepare a variety of Dim Sums (steamed, fried, baked) with proper fillings and folding techniques.
- Cook Asian soups (explicit soups, ramen-style broths, hot & sour, miso-based, etc.).
- Prepare fresh Asian salads and signature rolls.
- Create Korean bowls including bibimbap-style bowls, gochujang-based sauces, and Korean fried elements.

Menu Development & Innovation
- Assist in menu planning and new dish development.
- Standardize recipes with proper measurements and plating guidelines.
- Maintain authenticity while adapting flavors for local palate.

Kitchen Operations
- Handle mise-en-place for the Asian section.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of seafood (especially for sushi).
- Maintain consistency in portioning and presentation.




- Coordinate with service staff for smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Hygiene & Food Safety
- Follow strict hygiene standards, especially for raw fish and seafood handling.
- Maintain FIFO practices and proper labeling.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and equipment.

Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor stock levels of imported sauces, seaweed, sushi rice, specialty ingredients.
- Minimize wastage and maintain food cost control.
- Coordinate with vendors for quality sourcing of Asian ingredients.

Skills & Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in Asian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques (wok cooking, sauce balancing).
- Hands-on experience in Sushi preparation and seafood handling.
- Expertise in dim sum dough preparation and folding styles.
- Knowledge of Korean flavors, sauces, and bowl concepts.
