Position Overview:
CH. Sughar Singh World School, Etawah seeks a agile Dance & Music Teacher to lead performing arts program for Pre-Nursery to Class 8. The role combines dance instruction (Indian classical, folk, contemporary) with music teaching (vocal, instrumental) integrated into CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance classes - Kathak/Bharatanatyam, Folk forms, Western Contemporary
- Teach music - Indian classical vocal, Harmonium, Tabla, Synthesizer, Western notation basics
- Choreograph performances for annual day, competitions, cultural programs
- Conduct school orchestra and group performances
- Integrate arts across themes, festivals, assemblies
- Organize workshops, inter-house competitions, parent performances
- Maintain dance costumes, musical instruments, performance spaces
- Mentor student arts council and identify young talents

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- B.A./M.A.



Music OR B.A./Diploma Dance (recognized university)
- Minimum 3 years teaching/performance experience
- Proficiency in Indian classical dance (Kathak/Bharatanatyam) + 1 Western form
- Instrumental skills: Harmonium/Tabla mandator

Desirable:
- CTET/TET qualified
- Experience with CBSE/NEP arts curriculum
- Stage performance portfolio
- Video editing skills for performances

Skills Required:
- Classroom management with 3-14 year olds
- Curriculum planning and assessment
- Event management and stage production
- Parent communication and reporting
