Samved School, a premier educational institution located in J. P. Nagar, Bangalore South, an institution with a 60-year legacy, is seeking a visionary and empathetic Headmistress to lead our team of 50+ dedicated teachers and staff into a new chapter of excellence.

The Role

As the academic and administrative pivot of the school, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of mutual respect, high academic standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Leadership & Culture: Provide inspired leadership to a diverse team of 40+ faculty and staff; build a collaborative environment and resolve internal conflicts with grace.
- Academic Excellence: Oversee curriculum implementation, ensure high teaching standards, and introduce up-to-date pedagogical practices.
- Staff Development: Mentor teachers through regular observations, balanced appraisals, and professional development workshops.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the management, parents, students, and the local community.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage day-to-day school operations,



including admissions, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with educational boards.
- Student Welfare: Maintain a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment for student growth and character building.

Experience: Minimum 10-12 years in education, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Principal/Vice-Principal/Headmistress).

Education: Post-Graduate degree with a B.Ed./M.Ed.

Soft Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, "firm but fair" conflict resolution abilities, and a proven track record of leading large teams.
- Vision: Ability to respect the school's 60-year history while implementing necessary 21st-century upgrades.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
