Chess Pathshala is a growing offline chess academy focused on building solid fundamentals and disciplined thinking in young chess players. Our goal is to create a structured, high-quality learning environment where students develop a lifelong love for chess under proper guidance.

We are expanding our evening batches and are looking for a dedicated Beginner Chess Coach to teach young students at the foundation level.

We are looking for a passionate and patient chess coach who can handle beginner-level students and conduct engaging, structured offline classes at our academy.

The coach will mainly teach during evening hours (approximately 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) for 5-6 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach beginner-level chess students (kids and early learners)
- Explain basic concepts clearly, such as:
- Rules of chess
- Piece movement and coordination
- Check, checkmate, and basic tactics
- Opening principles and simple endgames
- Conduct offline group classes in a disciplined and student-friendly manner
- Encourage good habits such as notation, concentration,



and sportsmanship
- Track student progress and give basic feedback when required
- Coordinate with academy management regarding schedules and batches

Eligibility & Requirements
- Basic to intermediate chess knowledge
- Prior coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory:
- Should be comfortable teaching children:
- Good communication skills and patience
- Reliable, punctual, and disciplined
- Willingness to learn and follow the academy’s teaching structure
- (Tournament rating is a plus but not compulsory for this role.)_

Working Hours
- Evening shift: Approximately 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM:
- 5-6 days per week (weekly off as per mutual discussion)

Compensation
- ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and performance
