Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Setup: Designing, installing, and maintaining rigging gear like pulleys, slings, and hooks based on load weight and engineering specs.
- Safety Inspection: Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and complies with safety regulations before, during, and after use.
- Load Control: Guiding the movement of heavy loads, ensuring stability and safety, and dismantling equipment after use.
- Communication: Acting as the primary communicator with crane operators via hand signals or radio to safely maneuver loads.
- Maintenance: Cleaning, repairing, and storing rigging equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of rigging techniques, weight limitations, and load distribution.
- Physical Strength: Ability to work with heavy equipment and in diverse weather conditions.




- Communication: Clear, concise verbal and non-verbal signaling skills.
- Certifications: Often requires specialized training and, in some cases, certification to operate, particularly in construction, mining, or oil and gas sectors.
- Safety Focus: Strict adherence to, or knowledge of, safety regulations.
