Job Summary

The TGT Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging art and craft lessons to middle school students (Classes I-X), fostering creativity, artistic skills, and aesthetic appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver art and craft lessons as per the prescribed curriculum and school guidelines.
- Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, paper craft, and other creative activities.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression among students.
- Maintain a secure, clean, and organized art classroom.
- Assess and evaluate students’ work and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
- Maintain records of student progress and participate in academic planning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.
- Uphold discipline and promote a positive learning workplace.





Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate/Post Graduate with B.Ed. (as per TGT norms).
- Specialization or training in Art & Craft is preferred.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students creatively.
