We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Medical Scribe to join our team to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our patient documentation.

Job Summary: The Remote Medical Scribe will work closely with our psychiatrist to document patient encounters in real-time during virtual consultations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, especially in psychiatry, and the ability to accurately transcribe patient interactions and treatment plans into the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient history, examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans during live virtual consultations.
- Ensure all documentation meets the highest standards of completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of medical records and ensure they are up-to-date.




- Organize and manage patient information in the EHR system.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the psychiatrist.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical scribing or medical transcription is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, particularly in the field of psychiatry.
- Previous experience as a medical scribe, transcriptionist, or in a related medical documentation role is preferred.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and other medical software.
- Excellent listening, typing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
