Job Title: Assembly Area Technician (Battery Pack Assembly) Experience Required: 3+ years in battery pack, automotive, or electronics assembly

Job Summary: The Assembly Area Technician is responsible for the hands-on assembly and integration of lithium-ion battery modules and packs. This role requires precision, technical skill, and adherence to quality standards throughout the assembly process—from cell placement to final pack sealing and testing.

Key Responsibilities: - Cell & Module Assembly: Place and secure cells in modules using fixtures, spacers, brackets, and adhesives.

Perform inter-cell connections using laser welding, ultrasonic welding, or mechanical fastening.

Integrate thermal management components (cooling plates, heat sinks) within modules.
- Electrical Integration: o Install BMS master and slave boards, wiring harnesses, fuses, and connectors. o Perform low-voltage and high-voltage interconnections between modules.

Ensure proper insulation and routing of wires to prevent short circuits.

Testing Support:
Assist in End-of-Line (EOL) testing,



including insulation resistance, hi-pot, and functional checks. o Support BMS calibration and cell balancing activities.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections at each assembly stage.
- Documentation & Quality:
Record assembly data, serial numbers, and test results in production logs. o Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality control plans. o Participate in continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives.

Technical Competencies: Hands-on experience with hand tools, torque wrenches, welding equipment, and sealant applicators. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs. Basic understanding of electrical safety and high-voltage systems. o Familiarity with quality checkpoints and use of measuring instruments (calipers, multimeters).

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with laser welding machines or automated assembly systems.
