Key Responsibilities
- Edit business stories, interviews, podcasts, corporate films, event videos, promotional content, YouTube videos and social media reels.
- Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
- Convert raw footage into compelling stories with appropriate pacing, structure, transitions, graphics, music and sound design.
- Add subtitles, captions, titles, lower thirds, logos, brand elements and motion graphics.
- Edit Malayalam and English video content accurately.
- Create multiple content formats, including horizontal, vertical and square videos.
- Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio cleaning, syncing and final quality checks.
- Select suitable visuals, stock footage, music, sound effects and supporting graphics.
- Create video teasers, snippets, promos, thumbnails and platform-specific cut-downs.
- Work closely with journalists, content writers, producers, graphic designers and the digital media team.
- Follow project briefs, brand guidelines and editorial standards.




- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Organise and maintain raw footage, project files, graphics and completed video archives.
- Make revisions based on internal and client feedback.
- Support studio productions, interviews and event shoots whenever required.
- Explore AI-powered video editing, subtitling, voice and content-production tools to improve speed and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5-8 years of professional video-editing experience.
- Solid proficiency in FCP/Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Audition.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, typography, sound design and visual hierarchy.
- Experience editing reels, interviews, podcasts, corporate videos and digital campaigns.
- Ability to create basic motion graphics and animated titles.
