Job Description
Key Responsibilities Financial Management & MIS: Lead plant GL, AP/AR, costing, and payroll. Ensure Ind-AS compliance, month/quarter/year-end book closures, and accurate SAP records with budget variance reporting. Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Monitor CAPEX/OPEX budgets and drive plant-level forecasting. Partner with the Commercial team to negotiate vendor/contract rates and minimize operational costs. Costing & Profitability: Oversee standard/actual costing, variance analysis, BOM routing, overhead absorption, yield losses, and contribution margins to drive efficiency. Compliance & Audit Management: Manage statutory payments/returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI), Direct/Indirect tax compliance, and lead statutory, internal, cost, and GST audits. Treasury & Working Capital: Optimize plant cash flows, vendor payments, bank relationships, and working capital cycles (inventory, payables, receivables). Insurance & Risk: Manage plant insurance coverage (IAR/LOP)
to prevent over/under-coverage and lead insurance claim processes. Trust Administration: Serve as Trustee for the Exempted PF Trust and manage trust-related financial administration. Leadership & Business Partnering: Mentor the plant finance team and serve as the primary finance link between plant leadership and the CFO/HO. Key Requirements Qualification: Qualified CA or ICWA (CMA) . Experience: 14–20 years of post-qualification experience with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within plant finance. Industry Focus: Robust exposure to the Manufacturing / Chemical sector (multi-product plant experience strongly preferred). Technical Skills: Mandatory expertise in SAP (FI/CO modules) , product costing, CAPEX/OPEX management, and treasury.
