We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1.5-2 years of experience to provide technical support to end users and ensure the smooth functioning of desktops, laptops, network connectivity, software applications, and IT peripherals.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to users.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops/laptops.

Troubleshoot hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Install and configure software, applications, drivers, and security updates.

Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, Internet, and basic network connectivity issues.

Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic access-related issues.





Support Microsoft Office 365/Office applications, Outlook, Teams, and related tools.

Perform OS installation, system imaging, patching, and routine maintenance.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to printers and other IT peripherals.

Maintain IT asset and inventory records.

Log, track, and close incidents/requests using an IT ticketing system.

Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate infrastructure or application teams.

Follow IT security, backup, access-control, and company IT policies.

Prepare basic technical documentation and maintain troubleshooting records.

Required Skills

1.5-2 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support / Technical Support.

Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Active Directory and user/group management.

Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office/Office 365 and Outlook.

Knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.

Experience supporting printers and other peripherals.

Familiarity with IT ticketing/helpdesk tools.

Positive communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to provide both remote and on-site support.

Preferred Qualifications :

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
