Insurity s Next Senior Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator

Insurity is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Infrastructure Admin to help advance how we manage public cloud workloads across the company. This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced infrastructure professional with deep AWS and Azure expertise who can apply that knowledge to improve operations, strengthen standards, and drive technology improvements across our public cloud environments. The person in this role will act as a subject matter expert, lead infrastructure initiatives, and work across teams to evolve cloud platforms, processes, and operational practices while remaining close to the technical work.

What Our Senior Cloud Operations Infrastructure Administrator Will Do

- Implement and oversee infrastructure, system, and application projects.
- Work with internal and external clients to investigate and resolve complex issues related to production level systems in a timely manner
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in specific designated areas and tools
- Design processes, improvements, and automation
- Work with various internal teams to identify design specifications.
- Create documentation and diagrams of new systems and processes
- Optimize the operation of domain specific systems with a constant focus on uptime and availability.
- Track and monitor Cloud environment metrics to determine growth and resource constraints.
- Recommend industry best practices.
- Perform tasks across various areas of technology to support the Cloud Ops team s applications and infrastructure




- Participate in rotating team on-call support for production systems.
- Provide mentorship to team members.
- Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who We're Looking For

- 4-8 years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure administration, systems engineering, or a related production support role.
- Solid hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure public cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, systems engineering, and production operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure projects and technology improvement efforts from planning through execution.
- Experience with process design, standardization, and automation in cloud operations environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize for uptime, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools, systems integration, and software delivery practices.
- Experience with security practices in public cloud operations, infrastructure design, and scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell.
- Strong analytical thinking, written and verbal English communication, and the ability to work effectively across technical teams and stakeholders.
