MECHANICAL MANAGER

Vaaman Engineer India Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead mechanical maintenance and reliability operations at Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Location: Jharsuguda, Odisha

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma Mechanical Engineering

Industry: Aluminium / Non-Ferrous Metals / Process Industry

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mechanical maintenance activities for Cast House, Wire Rod Mill, ICM & Billet Casting.
- Manage preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Handle Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems and troubleshooting.
- Drive equipment reliability, availability and maintenance performance.
- Conduct RCA & FMEA for major and recurring failures.
- Monitor and improve MTTR & MTBF.
- Plan and execute shutdowns, major overhauls and preventive maintenance.
- Analyse breakdown trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Operations, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.




- Ensure availability of critical spares and maintenance resources.
- Lead Kaizen, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, SOP, LOTO and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance team.

Ideal Candidate
