Role Description This full-time Mechanical (PEB Construction) role is an on-site position based in Thane. The role involves overseeing mechanical aspects of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) construction projects, including equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning. The Mechanical professional will coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to safety standards, conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems, and support maintenance planning to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, using CAD tools for design and modifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and client specifications. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation,
collaborating with vendors and contractors, and contributing to continuous improvement in project quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and practical experience in PEB or related construction environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance planning and execution for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for reviewing, modifying, and creating mechanical and structural drawings.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills for mechanical components, structures, and systems to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess foundational Automotive or industrial equipment understanding relevant to construction machinery and tools.
- Candidates should possess good knowledge of safety practices, standards, and regulations applicable to construction and mechanical works.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in office.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred; prior experience in PEB construction or industrial projects is an advantage.
