Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Mechanical Fitter.

The Mechanical

Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery, including filling, wrapping, labelling, and conveyor systems. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, fitting and aligning mechanical components, performing routine inspections, and diagnosing mechanical issues. The role also involves coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment reliability, documenting maintenance activities,



and supporting continuous improvement of machinery performance.

The Mechanical

Fitter will work independently and collaboratively, following safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Fitting and Machinery skills, including assembly, alignment, and installation of mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess Machining skills for basic fabrication, adjustment, and repair of mechanical parts.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to troubleshoot issues, perform routine servicing, and optimize equipment uptime.
- Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience working with packaging, labelling, or conveyor systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals, with strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work remotely with distributed teams.
