Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manager – Audit and Assurance role based in Kolkata. The Manager will lead and execute statutory and internal audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities include reviewing working papers, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and delivering high-quality assurance outputs within agreed timelines. The role will involve managing and mentoring audit teams, coordinating with clients for information and clarifications, and presenting audit findings and recommendations to client management. The Manager will also contribute to process improvements,



support business development activities, and stay updated on regulatory changes and industry practices relevant to audit and assurance.

Qualifications

- Strong audit and assurance expertise, including statutory audit, internal audit, risk assessment, and audit planning skills.
- Solid grounding in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting standards, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience in advisory areas such as due diligence, valuation, business strategy, and ESG considerations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using audit tools, documentation software, and basic digital transformation solutions in the audit process.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build long-term relationships.
- Proven team leadership and people management capabilities, including mentoring, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Skilled qualification such as CA or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience in audit and assurance; experience in a consulting or professional services firm is preferred.
