We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and technically sound Manager Maintenance to oversee the complete plant upkeep, equipment reliability, and facilities engineering at our heavy machinery manufacturing plant. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to maximize equipment uptime, minimize operational costs, and implement world-class predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

Education & Qualifications

- Essential: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience & Background

- Minimum 15+ years of hands-on and managerial experience in industrial plant maintenance.
- At least 5 years in a leadership/head role directly supervising a large manufacturing facility's maintenance wing.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Equipment Reliability

- Define and execute the long-term plant asset maintenance strategy to support heavy manufacturing goals.
- Drive maximum equipment availability and reliability across heavy assets (e.g., large CNC boring mills, hydraulic presses, heavy overhead cranes, welding automation, and heat treatment furnaces).
- Implement advanced Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) frameworks,



significantly minimizing unplanned breakdown metrics like MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) cultures across production floors.

Operational Excellence & Troubleshooting

- Lead technical root-cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on critical machinery failures.
- Manage heavy mechanical overhauls, structural refurbishments, and regular calibrations of heavy toolings.

Financial & Spares Management

- Manage critical spare parts inventory via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or SAP PM to prevent stockouts while optimizing working capital.
- Negotiate and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and relationships with external machinery OEM vendors and contractors.

Team Management & EHS Compliance

- Lead, mentor, and upskill a robust team of maintenance supervisors, mechanical/electrical technicians, and contract workers.
- Ensure 100% adherence to national and local statutory, environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
