ABOUT THE SPIRITED SPOT The Spirited Spot (TSS) is a high-energy bar and dining destination built around global food, craft cocktails, live music and warm hospitality.

Live entertainment is an important part of the TSS experience, with live bands, artists, DJs and special performancesregularly taking over the stage.

Our Pune venue is equipped with professional AV infrastructure and LED screens to create a stronger visual experience for guests.

We are looking for an experienced Live PTZ Camera Operator who understands live entertainment and can make every performance look as good on screen as it feels in the room.

ROLE The Live PTZ Camera Operator will be responsible for operating multiple PTZ cameras during live performances and creating an engaging live visual feed for our LED screens.

This is not a CCTV camera operator position.

We need someone who understands live music, camera framing, movement, timing and switching and can follow performers naturally without distracting or unnecessary camera movements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate multiple PTZ cameras during live performances.
- Control camera pan, tilt, zoom, focus and presets.
- Create and maintain camera presets for stage positions.
- Follow singers, musicians, DJs and performers accurately.
- Capture wide, medium and close-up shots during performances.
- Understand when to focus on vocals, instruments,



crowd reactions and overall stage.
- Coordinate live camera feeds for display on venue LED screens.
- Operate or coordinate with the video switcher / vision mixer where required.
- Switch between cameras smoothly according to the performance.
- Monitor framing, exposure, focus and overall image quality.
- Avoid unnecessary zooming and excessive camera movement.
- Coordinate with the sound engineer, lighting team and entertainment team.
- Conduct camera and signal checks before every performance.
- Troubleshoot basic video, signal and connectivity issues.
- Maintain PTZ cameras, controllers, cables and related equipment.
- Support special events, artist performances and screenings when required.

LIVE MUSIC UNDERSTANDING The operator should understand that live camera work is about anticipating the performance, not simply reacting to it. When the vocalist starts a verse, the camera should already be ready.

When the guitarist takes a solo, the operator should recognise it.

When the crowd reacts, there should be a camera available to capture that energy.

A strong understanding of live bands and musical performances will therefore be highly preferred.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The candidate should have:





- Previous experience operating PTZ cameras in live environments.
- Experience with concerts, live music venues, events, broadcast or stage productions strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of PTZ camera controllers and presets.
- Understanding of HDMI / SDI / video signal flow.
- Basic knowledge of video switchers / vision mixers.
- Good understanding of camera framing and composition.
- Ability to follow fast-moving live performances.
- Basic understanding of exposure, white balance and focus.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems quickly.
- Strong concentration and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate with audio, lighting and technical teams.
- Comfortable working late evenings, weekends and live-event schedules.

WHAT WE DON’T WANT We are not looking for someone who simply moves cameras around because there is music playing.

Live camera operation should feel intentional and musical.

Every camera movement and every cut should add to the performance rather than distract from it.

THE TSS LIVE PTZ OPERATOR The audience inside TSS should be able to watch a musician on stage and then look at the LED screen and see another perspective of the same performance.

The vocalist. The guitarist’s solo. The drummer’s energy. The crowd singing along. The full stage.
