HR Lead Generalist & Compliance

Client - 20yrs software product company around 80 people solid in Bangalorr

Location: Bangalore Near Banaswadi

Work Mode: Work from Office

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Experience: 6–8 Years

Qualification: MBA/PGDM – HR preferred

Position: 1

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist / HR Lead with 6–8 years of experience in an IT/ITES organization to manage end-to-end HR operations, employee lifecycle, recruitment support, employee engagement and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, people-oriented and strong in HR operations and compliance, with the ability to independently manage day-to-day HR activities.

Reports to Head HR/HRM

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete employee lifecycle – onboarding, induction, documentation, confirmation and exit.
- Handle day-to-day HR operations and employee queries/grievances.
- Support recruitment and coordinate hiring activities as required.
- Manage employee engagement and HR initiatives.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation and HRIS/HRMS data.
- Experience with greytHR or similar HRMS is preferred.
- Manage offboarding, exit interviews,



full & final settlement coordination and clearance.
- Coordinate with IT, Finance and Admin for employee exits and access/asset closure.
- Ensure adherence to Indian labour laws, statutory compliance and company HR policies.
- Support compensation & benefits administration.
- Act as a backup/support to the HR Manager and handle cross-functional HR responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

- 6–8 years of relevant HR Generalist experience, preferably in IT/ITES.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR Operations, Employee Relations and Statutory Compliance.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance.
- Hands-on experience in employee lifecycle management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.
- Candidates who can attend a face-to-face interview are preferred.
- Candidates located in or around Banaswadi / North-East Bangalore would be preferred due to the work location.
