Newy Distillery is an Australian spirits brand producing premium spirits and pre-batched cocktails. We’re growing our direct-to-consumer and retail presence and are looking for a reliable freelancer to help us get more out of our Klaviyo email marketing.

The Role

We’re looking for a Klaviyo Content & Marketing Freelancer to work closely with our General Manager.

The General Manager will provide the overall direction, promotions, products and ideas. Your job will be to turn those ideas into great Klaviyo campaigns and content and make sure everything is set up, scheduled and performing properly.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both content and execution.

What you'll do

- Work directly with the General Manager on our email marketing calendar
- Turn marketing ideas, promotions and product launches into Klaviyo campaigns
- Write engaging email copy, subject lines and calls-to-action
- Build and format emails inside Klaviyo
- Select and arrange appropriate product imagery and content
- Schedule campaigns and ensure everything is ready to go
- Build and maintain Klaviyo flows and automated customer journeys
- Assist with segmentation and targeted campaigns




- Review campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Test different subject lines, content and offers
- Keep Klaviyo organised and up to date
- Coordinate with the General Manager on upcoming promotions, launches and important dates

We are looking for someone who
- Has hands-on experience with Klaviyo
- Has experience creating email marketing content
- Has solid knowledge of English
- Understands how to create emails that look good and drive sales
- Is comfortable working with Shopify
- Has a good eye for design and presentation
- Can take a brief from a General Manager and turn it into a finished campaign
- Is organised, responsive and reliable
- Can work independently while communicating clearly with the team
