Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior/Tekla Modeler role based in Navi Mumbai. The Junior/Tekla Modeler will assist in creating and modifying 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures, ensuring accuracy of connections, members, and details according to design and fabrication standards. The role includes interpreting structural and architectural drawings, preparing shop and erection drawings, and coordinating with design, detailing, and fabrication teams to resolve modeling issues.





The modeler will support the generation of material lists and reports, perform basic clash checks, and update models based on design changes or site feedback. The position also involves maintaining organized project files, following company drafting standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of modeling practices.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Tekla Structures or similar 3D modeling software, with the ability to create and revise steel structure models.
- Basic knowledge of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication practices, including understanding of shop and erection drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, along with attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, detailing, and fabrication teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to work to project deadlines in an on-site workplace.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to steel structures is an advantage.
- Experience with other CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and basic computer literacy in MS Office is beneficial.
