Role SummaryWe are looking for a Junior PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware product development team. The role will involve designing and developing PCB schematics and layouts for electronic products, supporting prototyping and testing, and working closely with hardware, embedded, mechanical, and production teams.

Success in this role means being able to create accurate, manufacturable, and reliable PCB designs, contribute effectively to product development, and support the team in resolving design and hardware issues.

Responsibilities

- Create and modify electrical schematics and PCB layouts based on product requirements.
- Design 2-layer and multi-layer PCBs while following defined design rules and standards.
- Select appropriate components, footprints, and libraries for PCB development.
- Perform schematic checks, Design Rule Checks (DRC), and layout reviews.
- Generate and maintain Gerber files, BOMs, schematics, and PCB manufacturing documentation.
- Support PCB fabrication, assembly, prototype bring-up, and hardware testing.




- Identify and resolve PCB design and hardware-related issues during development.
- Coordinate with hardware, embedded, mechanical, and production teams for product integration.
- Review designs for manufacturability, reliability, component availability, and cost considerations.

Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in PCB design; freshers with relevant projects or internships may apply.
- Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, or similar tools.
- Understanding of PCB components, footprints, routing, grounding, and design rules.
- Basic understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a product development setting.
