Role Description The Junior Mechanical Engineer (PEB Construction) will work on-site in Thane in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of pre-engineered building (PEB) projects. Daily responsibilities include assisting in mechanical design calculations, preparing and reviewing CAD drawings, coordinating with senior engineers and project teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
The engineer will contribute to material selection, equipment specifications, and documentation for construction activities,
while supporting site inspections and resolving technical queries. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in R&D; initiatives, and helping optimize project timelines and productivity.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to PEB construction.
- Skills in Machine Design and structural/mechanical component analysis.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Basic Project Management skills for planning, coordination, and tracking progress.
- Research and Development (R&D;) capabilities to support innovation and process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Understanding of construction safety standards and willingness to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to work on-site in Thane, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with PEB systems, industrial structures, or construction projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and quality assurance practices is beneficial.
