About the Organisation: Tripare is a B2B AI-powered business travel platform helping companies manage corporate travel, bookings, expenses and the overall travel experience from one place. We are a growing product team, and we’re looking for engineers who like working close to the product and are comfortable taking a feature from requirement to production.

About the role : This is a backend-heavy Full Stack role. Your work will be roughly 70% backend and 30% frontend.

You’ll primarily work with Node.js, TypeScript and REST APIs , while also contributing to our React.js application. You’ll be involved in building new features as well as improving existing ones as the product scales.

What you’ll be doing :

- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop REST APIs and the business logic behind different product features.
- Implement secure API authentication and authorization, including role-based access controls.
- Work with database designs and write efficient queries.
- Design and evolve database schemas, migrations and indexes as product requirements change.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services wherever required.
- Build and operate asynchronous jobs, queues and background processing for reliable workflows.
- Build and improve frontend features using React.js.
- Fix bugs and production issues and understand the root cause rather than just applying quick fixes.
- Review code and contribute to keeping the codebase clean and maintainable.
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and decide the right technical approach.
- Contribute to improving application performance and scalability.




- Improve application observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing and actionable alerts.
- Participate in deployments, debugging and day-to-day engineering discussions.

What we’re looking for :

- 2-5 years of relevant development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Conceptual clarity of TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js.
- Valuable understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Practical experience implementing API authentication and authorization.
- Experience with database and schema design, migrations and query optimisation.
- Experience with asynchronous jobs, queues or background processing.
- Working knowledge of application observability, including structured logging, metrics and tracing.
- Experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of Git and common development practices.
- Experience working with third-party APIs.
- Someone who can work independently and is comfortable in a fast-moving product environment.

Good to have :

- Experience with Redis or caching.
- Exposure to AWS Infrastructure.
- Docker or containerisation experience.
- Experience working on B2B SaaS or product-based applications.
- Experience with travel, payments, booking or other API-heavy products.
