Role Description The Jr.

Software Test

Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the quality assurance process across software projects. Day-to-day activities include reviewing requirements, creating and maintaining test cases, executing manual and basic automated tests, and documenting test results. The role involves identifying defects, reproducing issues, and working with software developers to clarify problems and verify fixes. The Jr.

Software Test

Engineer also contributes to test planning, participates in team meetings, and helps improve testing processes and documentation.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Execution and Testing to validate functionality against requirements.

- Candidates should possess skills in Software Testing and Test Cases to design, organize, and maintain effective test coverage.

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Software Development to understand system behavior and collaborate with engineering teams.

- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to identify, document, and track defects clearly.

- Basic familiarity with testing tools, issue tracking systems, and version control platforms.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote workplace and as part of a distributed team.

- Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
