Java / Kotlin Engineer Global Remittance Platform

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java/Kotlin Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance applications for a Global Remittance and Cross-Border Payments Platform. The candidate will be responsible for building secure, reliable, and resilient payment services that enable real-time money transfers, transaction processing, compliance checks, and partner integrations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop microservices using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. (Mandatory)

Build and maintain payment processing, remittance, settlement, and transaction orchestration services.(Good to have)

Integrate with banking systems, payment gateways, SWIFT, ACH, and third-party financial partners.( (Good to have)

Develop scalable APIs for global money transfer and digital payment solutions. (Valuable to have)

Ensure high availability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance of payment applications.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning,



and production support.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Business teams in an Agile environment.

Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native deployment strategies.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java/J2EE and Kotlin development.

Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services.

Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture is preferred.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Strong understanding of secure coding practices and payment transaction processing.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
