Job Details:

We are seeking a Java developer with strong cloud-native and Kubernetes experience to design, build, deploy and operate scalable enterprise services. The role combines Java and Spring engineering with containerisation, Kubernetes workload management, configuration, security, observability and delivery automation.

Location requirement The role may be aligned to Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Chennai based on project allocation. PAN India candidates may be considered, subject to final work-location requirements confirmed by Client.

Role responsibilities

- Design and develop Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs and background services with appropriate resiliency, security and performance controls.
- Package services as containers and create or maintain deployment specifications for Kubernetes environments.
- Configure Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, resource requests and limits, health probes and rollout strategies.
- Support service discovery, ingress or gateway integration, TLS, identity and access controls and environment-specific configuration.
- Build or improve CI or CD pipelines for compilation, testing, image creation, vulnerability checks, deployment and rollback.
- Implement logs, metrics, traces, alerts and operational dashboards; investigate application and cluster-level failures.
- Optimise application startup, JVM memory, concurrency, database access, API latency and container resource usage.




- Participate in architecture, threat-modelling, code review, release readiness and incident review activities.
- Automate repeatable operational tasks and maintain runbooks, deployment guidance and support documentation.
- Collaborate with platform, security, database, QA and product teams in an Agile delivery setting.

Required qualifications and experience

- Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience building production REST services or microservices.
- Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience, including deployments, services, configuration, secrets, probes and troubleshooting.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform and its compute, networking, identity, storage and monitoring concepts.
- Working knowledge of Git, Maven or Gradle, CI or CD, Linux and shell-level diagnostics.
- Understanding of distributed-system failure modes, API security, observability and database integration.

Preferred qualifications

- Managed Kubernetes experience such as EKS, AKS, GKE or OKE.
- Infrastructure as code, Helm, Kustomize, GitOps, service mesh or policy-as-code exposure.
- Messaging or streaming platforms, caching and event-driven architecture.
- Cloud or Kubernetes certification and production incident-management experience.
